World Pilates®ASD
World Pilates ASD is an association created almost 20 years ago to meet the need of providing Pilates teachers with a certification recognised by CONI (Italian National Olympic Committee) and the Italian Ministry of the Interior.

The Birth of World Pilates®ASD
Thanks to the vision of the founder of World Pilates® SRL, Antonio Giliberti, and the contribution of the managers Susanna Talloru and Luana Giliberti, World Pilates®ASD was created as an independent association. Although it works alongside World Pilates® SRL, World Pilates®ASD operates completely independently, with a clear objective: to promote the training and culture of Pilates as a tool for wellbeing and prevention.

The Training Centres
The World Pilates®ASD holds its training courses at:
– Official World Pilates® Centres.
– Partner Centres and clients of World Pilates®SRL.
Thanks to these partnerships, aspiring teachers have access to top-quality facilities and professional-level equipment, produced directly by World Pilates®SRL.

An Innovative and Inclusive Approach
World Pilates®ASD is committed to adapting the Pilates method to all age groups and people with specific needs, including:
– People with disabling symptoms.
– Patients who have completed physiotherapy courses or are recovering from illnesses.
These programmes are always carried out under medical supervision, guaranteeing safety and effectiveness.

World Pilates®ASD is dedicated to a wide range of activities fundamental to the promotion of Pilates and well-being:

We offer practical guidance and ongoing support to help Pilates instructors grow professionally.

With Italian and international presenters, we promote Pilates globally.

– Research and development of the Pilates method:
We collaborate with physiotherapists, doctors and osteopaths to study and develop new applications of Pilates.

WORLD PILATES ASD FOUNDERS

Antonio Giliberti is also the founder and C.E.O. of World Pilates Srl. Antonio is a Pilates and fitness expert with over 40 years of experience in the field. From a young age, he cultivated a deep passion for wellness, nature and sustainability, imagining a business dedicated to fitness and wellness.
In 1985, he realised this dream by opening his first gym. Being creative and visionary, Antonio has designed Pilates equipment that combines tradition and innovation. He also created and patented Pilates machines and equipment, contributing in a significant way to the development and customisation of the sector. There are no problems for him, just opportunities: “Will is Power” is his watchword.

Vice-President of World Pilates®ASD and Board Member of World Pilates® Srl, Susanna Talloru is an authentic icon of the fitness and Pilates world with over 35 years of experience. In addition to being an experienced Pilates instructor, over the years she has also been certified in other sports disciplines such as Step, Aerobics and Personal Training.
Susanna stands out for her extraordinary empathy, which allows her to create a unique bond with her students, turning each lesson into an engaging and motivating experience. Her passion for movement is inexhaustible: for her, training is an indispensable way of life. With her energy and charisma, she manages to make lessons “fly”, leaving an indelible mark on everyone who follows her.

Vice-President of World Pilates® ASD and Director of World Pilates® Srl, with almost 40 years of experience in the world of fitness, dance and Pilates, Luana Giliberti represents a reference figure in the sector. An experienced teacher, she stands out for her ability to guide students at all levels, specialising in posture, body alignment and balance. She is a speaker and examiner for new Pilates instructors, as well as co-author and coordinator of the World Pilates teacher training course. Her passion for teaching has led her to write several manuals, including one now under development on Pilates methodology for dancers. In addition to Pilates, she is also a teacher of dance and several fitness disciplines.

TEACHING TEAM

As a Pilates teacher and osteopath at World Pilates®, I was first introduced to Pilates 10 years ago to deal with vertebral column problems. Thanks to the passion passed on by my teacher Susanna, I turned this discipline into my profession.
Helping people improve their physical and mental well-being always gives me great satisfaction.
